Many of our students are challenged daily with where they will find their next meal. Healthy choices are often limited. Working together with other school programs our intent is to showcase how each one of us can contribute to a stronger school and community relationship that benefits all! These 3rd Graders are ready to help start and grow, not only a community garden, but a stronger sense of community! Our new worm composting system will not only provide material for our garden, but will tie into our science learning standards and help students understand our impact on our environment and our world.

About my class
