What inspires children to write? I have found two projects that motivate my students to write and take pride in their writing. One project is a class newspaper and the other is individual scrapbooks that chronicle the year's main events and units of study. Both projects incorporate student photography which is one of the motivating factors for the students. I am a third grade teacher in a charter school. Although we have basic supplies, our technology budget limited and we need a digital camera.
