These books will impact my students by allowing them to be excited about reading! I chose a variety of books based on differing likes and interests. I plan to read many of them during my read aloud times as well as place them in our class library. I want students to feel that they have a plethora of books to choose from to gain confidence and the love of reading. Students are allowed to change their book boxes out weekly and discuss with partnerships their favorite parts and how the book made them feel. The students then encourage others to read that same book!
