Our school is in a small, rural area, in the South. Our free and reduced lunch rate is 68%. We have 800 7th and 8th-graders in our junior high. Our students are great! They seize any opportunities provided them. Unfortunately, our school is very old. It was built in the 1950's and still looks very much the same. I would love for our students to have the same opportunities provided to them, that they would receive if living in an urban area, so that they can compete in the job force, with the same equality of any other student from anywhere in the United States.

About my class
