STEM is an a big part of my classroom. When they see STEM on the schedule, students are overflowing with excitement. They are able to be creative and are always engaged in the task put before them. The art supplies, including brushes, paint, watercolor paper, and beads are a way to integrate art not only into the STEM projects and making them STEAM, but also in other projects that we do in class, including language arts and math. I have supplies to help with a coding project that I want my students to do that they can keep. Zentangle supplies are to help during state testing time to reduce stress and to keep focus on the next task.
