Technology is everywhere, especially in schools. My students love exploring and learning on the computer. They love showing off their math skills on IXL, and they love learning new reading strategies on Waterford. These programs are an excellent tool to use in the classroom because they are engaging and entertaining. However, when a group of students are working close to each other without headphones, these programs can become distracting instead of educational. Please help my students by generously giving them headphones. With headphones that are functional, my students can get the most out of their learning time on the computer. Students in Indiana are required to take state assessments on the computer. I want to get my students ready for state testing by having them complete their weekly reading assessments on the computer. The students will be focused on the test, and preform their best with these quality headphones.
