I plan to use the Osmo accessories to help keep my students engaged while learning math and literacy skills. This will be a hands on way to help struggling students gain a more concrete understanding. The different levels of the programs will encourage them to keep learning. Statistics show that jobs that involve computer programming will go unfilled because schools are not teaching coding. There is also a 4:1 ratio for boys to girls who learn to computer program. I plan to implement coding into my classroom so that my students are prepared for the changing world we live in.
