Because of Covid, students in this 5th-grade class have missed out on the opportunity to enjoy hands-on STEM activities where they were able to collaborate with classmates in the classroom setting. They have also had significant gaps in learning science standards in the past couple of years. Students will be able to learn about and try to solve global challenges; such as water shortages, oil spills, and energy shortages. They will also explore engineering by building raised bridges, as well as learning more about gravity and electricity through hands-on STEM projects.

About my class

Because of Covid, students in this 5th-grade class have missed out on the opportunity to enjoy hands-on STEM activities where they were able to collaborate with classmates in the classroom setting.
