This year students will not be able to share materials. These resources will help to keep each students art supplies organized and self-contained. I want to continue to have a classroom environment that is welcoming, colorful and full of imagination for my young learners. This environment is one they will create themselves with their artwork! For my students, their art, drawing, painting, and pre-writing tells their story. As diverse as my students are, art is the means by which I encourage the children to communicate and express themselves. Students use art to deepen and express their ideas and learning, and record their experiences. Art encourages language, connects to literacy, promotes communication, and fosters fine motor skills.
