When my students start Kindergarten many of them wonder the same thing: when are we going to learn how to read? I love teaching students to read because they are so amazed and in awe of the process. My school is so special because a multitude of nationalities and abilities are represented in each class. In my classroom many students qualify for ELL services and some have IEPs. We strive to create the least restrictive environment for all learners. I believe that every student has the ability to learn to read in Kindergarten and I love giving them the tools they need to do that.
