I have an amazing group of 28 kids. They are all so special and unique. I have a lot of poverty stricken children. Many families in our area are without jobs due to declincing coal mining jobs. Coal is our way of life here. Many families have to do without. Times are very hard. We have a very large school with over 500 students. We are located in a rural area in West Virginia. My students come to school on all different levels. They are each so precious to me and have so much potential! Many children come to school needing love, most of all. It's my job to teach them from textbooks, but also to show them love and teach them about life. Our school does not have the extra funds to provide us the technology that we all would love to have. Our county does not recieve as many funds as they once did.
