My students would enjoy a soft rug that has a spot for each to sit on. This would be used not only for learning times but rest time as well. Students will be able to have an assigned spot for any activity we are working on. Kindergarteners spend a lot of learning time on the floor! They often take their activities to the floor so that they can spread out and not be in each other's way. Our learning centers are differentiated to meet the needs of each student, so there are often a lot of activities going on at once! A rug such as this, with divided spaces, will help with the organization of these activities.
