My students who will be receiving these underdesk pedals are students who are finding it very hard to concentrate. These students are outrageously bright, but can not sit for long periods of time. They may be asked to sit for 1-2 hours at a time. This is simply not in the cards for the students who have so much energy. Many times, I find that these students are off task, bored, or finding ways to act out. They are often sent to a safe seat, buddy room, or office because they do not have an outlet. I am hoping to give support to these students who are struggling.
