I have the sweetest, hard working, extremely helpful, and respectful students not only to myself but as well to their peers and others around them. We have a great group of students who work well with others and are very uplifting to one another. Just the other day I have a student within my classroom who is not on grade level in the beginning of the year he couldn't even write his name. His classmates always encourage him to do his best and now he has come such a long way in such a short amount of time he can write his first and last name and write and count all the way up to 100.( I know that might seem absurd to many of you but the school district I work in the surrounding areas are struggling). The students come to school hungry, not having proper clothing, holes in their shoes, no jackets. These students have been exposed to so many things that education is many times the last thing there parents and guardians think of.
