My students are AMAZING! The majority are English Language learners that come from high poverty homes. My school is Title 1, which is 90% free or reduced price lunch. Despite these hardships, my students come to school excited to learn and are embracing the new technology based learning. When you walk in my classroom, you will see students collaborating, communicating, critically thinking and using creativity, all which are 21st century skills. My students have unlimited potential. Students need to ask questions, be challenged, collaborate with each other, and strive to be their best each day. Each child is unique with his or her strengths, and they bring this uniqueness to our classroom daily. My goal is to help develop these young adults in becoming lifelong learners who are contributing members of society. The classroom is their place to experience a redefined type of learning where technology allows for the creation of new tasks, previously inconceivable.
