I am a 1st grade teacher in a Title 1 school. My students are active and ready to learn and have been from the moment they entered my door the first day of school. As flexible seating becomes more and more common, I want to find ways to incorporate this in the first grade setting. Already in our first week of a new year, the students need a way to stay at their desk but not be confined to the stiffness of a chair. They want to live healthier and being in a stiff chair all day does not support this way of living, which is where my first project comes in! Hokki Stools! We are so excited about the possibility of adding these to our classroom seating.
