The Upper Montessori classroom has a wide range of personalities. There are hardcore readers, reading books most college students are still trying to grasp. Some students would work on personal research project all day long if they were able. Others find math most interesting and continually dive into Montessori materials and ask for as many lessons as possible. All of the students are learning what it means to be a leader. We have lessons in our school's four universals: being safe, responsible, respectful, and learners. We also learn about Peace Education, empathy, compassion, and giving.
