The students at our elementary are excited to take responsibility for our environment! Our campus is located next to a very busy, commercially used road that litters our campus with trash at an unfortunate rate. After discussing possible solutions with our students, they have pushed for an environmentally focused club on our campus that can work together to tackle this challenge, we are the Earth Dragons! We will begin with weekly trash pick ups, student organized clean-ups around the community, environmental awareness education to students, and the beautification of planters and "green areas" around campus. These trash pickers we are asking for will be used by students to clean up our campus, take care of our local environment, and provide our students with a sense of responsibility in their own community.
