Flexible seating in the classroom has been proven to increase student success. It allows students to feel comfortable in their learning environment. The 21st century educational model is innovative and developing just as technology in the classroom is becoming more prominent. The days of what we know as the typical chair and desk in the classroom are over. Flexible seating brings a new and innovative learning style into the classroom. Students will have the ability to work on balance chairs, stools, bean bag chairs, and other various seating arrangements. The students will have the freedom to choose their specific work place and different chairs to sit on. The benefit of having unique seating resources such as the balance chair is students have the opportunity to learn in a comfortable setting. 21st century education focuses on active learning in the classroom. Having the resources for flexible seating in the classroom would greatly benefit my students and their educational experience. We would be extremely grateful for any kind of contribution toward this exciting endeavor. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help!
