My students are 4th grade Academically Gifted students. They are bright, enthusiastic, and highly motivated learners who crave a challenge. They enjoy activities which allow them to investigate and experience the world around them. Our school is located in a small, rural community outside of a moderately sized city. It is identified as a Title I school, which means that at least 80 % or more of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. The socio-economic level of many of our students often limits the amount of experiences afforded to them outside of school, so we strive to provide as many meaningful experiences as possible within the school setting.
