The school that I teach at is in a very highpoverty area which has a very diverse culture. Many of my students do not get to go school shopping at the beginning of the year nor do they bring supplies for the classroom. I personally purchase their supplies for them, even with the little salary that I have. I consider my students my children, and I will do everything in my means to help them academically and in their everyday lives. I teach students with a variety of different disabilities and needs, however many of my students are Autistic and have ADHD, meaning they would GREATLY benefit from having an energy conversion kit attached to their desk! These four kits will allow my students to move while still concentrating on the lessons being taught. "Sitting still is overrated. It makes sense for the opera or for meditating, but in most classrooms and child care centers, it's given far more honor than it deserves.
