I teach at a Title 1 campus with a large percentage of my students being English Language Learners. My students come from one of the most economically challenged areas in our community and are eager to learn daily. It is hard to ask parents to bring in school supplies for students when I see the financial hardships these parents will have to endure in order to purchase supplies.
