A new easel would allow my kindergarten students the flexibility to learn from carpet time using anchor charts that I create during our lessons. This would help them better understand the ELA and math lessons as well as allow us to do more hands on activities that give us a better level of understanding the concepts. I made so many charts this year but I didn't have an easel which made it more difficult because I'd have to erase them from the white board instead of writing them down on an easel and paper. An easel would make it so much more convenient if we have to go over a skill that I taught already and I just need a small space to write an example and/or model it for my kinders. I am also new to kindergarten this year and I have limited resources in my classroom and not as many supplies as my colleagues.
