My classroom is an Early Childhood Special Education classroom consisting of 3 and 4 year old children, all of whom are unique and wonderful and have specific needs. Our school is located in a rural community with a high poverty rate. For many of my students, school is a safe place to explore and experiment. Research tells us that that the rate of learning and development is most rapid in the preschool years. In my classroom, we take every opportunity to flood our little learners with as many learning opportunities as possible!
