My school has a very high poverty rate with all of my students receiving free lunch. They come from backgrounds in which they have not been exposed to much before stepping foot into my classroom. However, that does not stop them from excelling academically or otherwise. They overcome so many obstacles that try to hinder their learning and each day they continue to show me their curiosity and want for knowledge. I am amazed every day with what I learn from each and every one of them!
