My students are 6th graders. They come from 4 different elementary schools, so the middle school transition can be tough. Part of the experience is to learn how to make friends and get along with others in a group experience. To promote this, they often work collaboratively. I'm hoping that the camcorder will give them the tool to help them work together better in an exciting way (they have never had the chance to use one in class before). I'm envisioning a lot of laughter, which should only add to the middle school experience.
