Special Education students do not always feel the same success in school or sense of accomplishment as their peers. Learning new concepts is difficult and applying these concepts to real world applications can be even more of a challenge. My students have a desire to learn and work to their ability. As they grasp and understand material, there is a visible change in their confidence as they continue to learn and apply their learning. Their behavior changes from avoiding work to engaging assignments when they feel that they keep up with their classmates. Their rate of learning increases with each new success.

About my class
