I work in an urban school district. Most of the students in my school are Hispanic and speak Spanish as their first language. One of the computer programs we use is specifically designed for students learning English. Most of my students are underprivileged and do not come to school with many supplies. Often my students are hungry and require programs to send food home with them on the weekends. My students are eager to learn, but unfortunately they were not dealt the best cards. I am doing everything I can to get my students working at the level that they need to be so they can be successful in the future.
