I teach in a Title 1 school where a high number of children come from low-income families. Moreover, 100% of my students are English Language Learners because I teach bilingual education. While I could focus on all the challenges that come along with this group of students, I like to think of the time that I spend with my students as a great learning opportunity. There is so much that I learn from every single one of them. I have learned that they have so much potential and that I can make a difference in their lives by believing that they are amazing and by supporting them in every way that I can. Therefore, if I could describe my students, I would describe them as a wonderful group of smart children that are eager to learn and have high dreams and goals. They are creative, enthusiastic, and so much fun to be around.
