My classroom is a Special Education Resource classroom for 6th-8th grades. I work with students who have disabilities that affects their reading, writing, and mathematics. We work with them in smaller classrooms to help close that achievement gap quicker than if they were out in regular education classrooms. The school I work at is Walter Johnson Junior High School, which is a Title 1 school. This means that a majority of the students are lower income.
