Flexible seating is a great asset to any classroom. This type of seating allows students to take charge of their own learning. They can work independently on assignments using different tables that are higher for standing, sitting under tables on comfortable seats, and in beanbags just to name a few different options. Providing my students with beanbag chairs, stools, wobble chairs and wobble cushions allow them to feel safe and motivated to continue to learn. Motivating students has never been easier when they know they can complete their work in a comfortable enviornment. Students with all learning styles are effective by alternative seating which allows them the opportunity to learn in a way that is engaging for them.
