My school is classified as a rural, Title One, low income school. Our students come from a mixed background in a small community. My school serves students that range in ages from eleven to thirteen. The students are not always able to come with the supplies necessary for school, but that does not stop them from trying to satisfy their desire for knowledge. They have come to understand that doing the minimum is never enough, they must always try to do their best in school and out. All of our students carry a love of sports, basketball especially, and play any chance they get. Our students also participate in multiple UIL events in the fall and spring semesters.
