The more you read, the more you know! My students are very curious about learning and soak it up like sponges. They come from low income families so the only books they have at their disposal come from our very small school library. With relevant reading material, they would find better ways to stimulate their mind, engage the imagination, and have improved think-pair-share discussions. As well as being low income, many of my students are part of our English Learner (EL) program. Having more books in their hands would enable them to practice their reading and English skills.

About my class
