I feel that every child deserves the opportunity to play outside everyday. We go outside daily and I want to provide my students with more outdoor center choices. The mud kitchen would allow them to explore, create, and use their imaginations! Some children live in apartments and may have little to no yards to play in at their house. The kitchen will also allow my students to use their hands to create mud masterpieces. All children need the chance to mix water and dirt. The outdoor mud kitchen will allow for 2 to 3 children to play together and work on social skills. The children's language skills will improve as the children play together. These skills are part of Prek assessments throughout the year. Accessors that come to our schools love to see this interaction with the children.
