We have been blessed with a brand new building this year and for the first time in my 34 years, I have a dedicated Art room that is state of the art! My students have created some amazing pieces of art in less than ideal circumstances, so I am extremely excited to see what they accomplish this year! Since we are a math and science heavy school in an urban area, the art room has become their "therapy" and a way to decompress during a busy day. For many of my students, the exposure to art in my class, is a reprieve from their everyday lives! Although we are in a new, gorgeous building, we are lacking some basics such as drying racks. They are expensive and my budget doesn't allow for that extravagance, but it sure would be great to have a rack and not have to put paintings on the ground! (I apologize if no pic shows up, would not upload!) We are so grateful for your consideration and donation to help our art room run smoothly! Thanks you!!
