I have the pleasure of teaching 6th and 7th grade mathematicians. They come from all over the city and meet in my classroom everyday. My students come from diverse backgrounds with approximately 80% of them on free and reduced lunch. No matter their struggles they come to school ready and eager to learn everyday. My students are some of the brightest and most compassionate kids I have met.
