My scholars are inner city teens with disabilities who have chosen to attend a new International Baccalaureate high school in a poor urban school district; the scholars participating in this program have made a serious commitment to complete this academically rigorous educational program. Although these scholars often come from families that lack financial resources, they still have set the bar high for their future post-secondary education. The scholars benefiting from my projects are those with disabilities, including (but not limited to) Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Disabilities, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Physical Disabilities, etc.
