This project will impact my classroom by providing comfortable seating for students to regulate emotions so they can return to the classroom. While in the big joe, students can first use their calming strategy tools to first name their feeling and chose the best calming strategy for them! Students can use the fish and lamp as visual aids in their calming process. Students can use the colors and object when identifying colors and sounds to mindfully connect with their whole brain. These are skills that students can take back into the classroom. When students feel safe in their school environment, they have improved academic achievement.

About my class
