Students need access to 21st century technology in order to develop skills necessary to be competitive in college and careers. The Ingenuity team has one set of laptops to share between four teachers. These laptops are used to conduct science simulations, research history projects, compose essays, create graphs and presentations, and much more. Recently, the Ingenuity Project purchased a set of tablets to enhance the technology available to students. Unfortunately, without an efficient way to store and charge the tablets, it is difficult for teachers to utilize these resources effectively. The purchase of a cart to store, charge, and transport tablets will enable teachers to integrate tablets into their instruction to increase student creativity and engagement.
