My students are at risk youth in a behavioral program. Covid has taken away many of the rewards we typically use because of cross contamination and the iPad can easily be sanitized. We can use this as a reward also as a tool for supporting learning with the apps that are academically engaging and challenging. The iPad can be used by all students of all ability levels and interests. I hope to use this during academic and free time along with times that therapy is needed. Calming music and tones could help a student refocus on the task at hand.
