I am asking for several high interest novels on my students' reading levels. These novels are a critical part of their literacy diet! With these books, they will develop independent reading skills. These skills include developing fluency, enhancing comprehension, and building reading stamina. My students are entering a crucial period where they are reading to learn instead of learning to read. It's incredibly important they develop into strong readers. Because these books are on interesting topics, the students will also build their intrinsic motivation. Additionally, the bins I have requested will help to organize the books on our shelves so students can easily choose books that are on their level.

About my class
