We are requesting a carpet that will be used in the following aspects: During our Morning Meetings, students will gather in the carpet area to share our message of the day and greet each other with smiles on our faces! It is important to me that my students grow with their social skills and work together on a daily basis. We practice our listening skills and work on healthy discussions each day. Incorporating alternative seating during small reading groups and spacing throughout the classroom. In our pod, we don't have sufficient space to spread out with the desks and cubbies/lockers. The carpet will provide an area where the students can read, write, and work on small group activities. The carpet area will enhance the feeling of the classroom environment. Also, it will be an upgrade from the cold tile floor. This carpet would do wonders to help out! If you consider donating to my class, I would be forever grateful! Thank you!
