My wonderful group of 3rd graders are highly motivated learners who enjoy exploring new ways to learn. They are always interested in finding new ways to learn. We are a middle class school with some diversity. Our challenge is that we are not a Title 1 (low income) school that receives a lot of extra federal dollars to aid in learning. Nor are we a high income school that makes several thousands of dollars during fundraising events. Thus, having funds for some the extra things that make teaching and learning fun can be a challenge.
