The materials needed for this sensory/break corner will be available to every student who has access to the resource room. This corner can be used for breaks, calm down times, and/or sensory integration. Since my room is a revolving door, I would love a blackout tent to help my students calm down without distractions from other students. The fidgets and sensory tools will be available for my students as well. The beanbags are perfect for this area because it allows the students to decompress so they are ready to learn. The rug gives the corner a cozy feel so the students can feel comfortable laying on the floor or sitting on the floor in this area. This corner will provide a safe and comfortable place in my classroom where my students are able to calm down or refocus so they are ready to learn. Your generous donations will help make this sensory space complete.
