Do not pass on this chance to be a ray of sunshine to a student existing in a gloomy educational situation. I am an 8th grade math teacher at a school that has 85 % of the student population living below the poverty level. In addition to their struggle with social economic status, a large percentage of our students qualify for special education. We lack the resources needed to supply our students with a classroom set of calculators.
