I work in a Title 1 school where roughly 50 percent of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch. Many of my students do not have access to technology outside of the classroom. They spend their time with me learning 5th grade math concepts. We use notebooks where students keep their notes and foldables. We like to do small group rotations with one station being technology based. Because of my class size, there is not always enough reliable computers for the students to successfully complete their tasks.
