Students in visual art at Cascade Middle School are creating portfolios, in which they keep a record of all art projects: the experimental work, the work in progress, and the presentation pieces which will be displayed for all to see. Having a digital portfolio, in which students can capture a picture of their work, encourages accountability and accomplishment in what they are creating. I would like to give these students the opportunity to create digital portfolios, where they can easily write about their work and share their work with others, including their families. First, we need the resources to do so. Please help me to create an environment where growth is fostered and encouraged by the use of technology in our visual art classroom.

About my class
