The STEM School and Academy music program promotes a vision for music education utilizing innovative real-world approaches to teaching music. Software such Ableton Live and Sibelius are integrated into a core curriculum as students learn piano, guitar, technology and music theory. Students then synthesize music knowledge and skills in order to improvise, create and perform. Our students ability to synthesize music skills and knowledge extends beyond the music classroom as they develop ways to improve their own academic success as well as directly impact the success of their piers, their teachers, school culture and the community.

About my class
