I teach at a K-8 school. Currently, we have approximately 65% of our students receiving free or reduced lunch. We have wonderful, hard working students. The technology purchased for this grant would be used in the math classroom and for after school tutoring offered at our school. Tutoring is offered weekly to our students who need additional assistance outside of the classroom. Our school is an art school, where students are exposed to dance, art, music, and theater from kindergarten to eighth grade. This is a wonderful opportunity for students who may not be able to experience the arts outside of school. We also have a very strong academic focus and believe in creating well rounded students.
