Fifth grade creators will use the key chain maker, and bracelet maker during their ARTS AND CRAFT CLUB. This club is made to show students the aspect of making and selling items. For example students will be able to make bracelets and will understand the different concepts of making an item, using a process and following directions. During events they will sell the items they make to their peers and families at family literacy night and open house. The goal is to raise enough money to be able to take a trip to a the LACMA museum in Los Angeles. This field trip will enable students in look at different art forms from different creators. Students will understand the artistic process and approaches of art as primary sources. Being able to attend the LACMA will help bring to life the different curricula that is taught in our fifth grade classrooms.
